Go to Bluetooth in your iPhone's Settings and tap the info button next to the AirPods.

Click “Forget This Device”.

Tap “Forget This Device” once more.

Now put both AirPods in your new Apple AirPods 3rd generation charging case.

Open the lid. The status light should now flash amber.

Press and hold the setup button on the back of the AirPods 3 charging case for several seconds, until the status light flashes white.

On the playback device you want to use, go to the Home Screen.

Open the charging case and hold it next to the playback device. As soon as contact is established, a setup animation for the AirPods starts.

Click “Connect” and then “Done”. Now you can use your 3rd generation AirPods together with their new charging case.
