Go to the Bluetooth section of your iPhone's settings and tap the info button next to the AirPods.
Click “Ignore this device”.
Tap “Ignore this device” again.
Now put both AirPods in your new Apple 3rd generation AirPods charging case.
Open the lid. The status indicator should now flash yellow.
Press the setup button on the back of the AirPods 3 charging case for several seconds. Until the status display flashes white.
Go to the home screen of the player you want to use.
Open the charging case and hold it next to the player. As soon as contact is established, an animation for setting up the AirPods starts.
Click “Connect” and then click “Done”. Now you can use your 3rd generation AirPods with their new charging case.

Place both AirPods in the charging case and connect the case to a power source, close the lid, and wait 20 minutes.

Open the lid. If the status light blinks white, close the lid of the case again and proceed to step 4. Otherwise, continue with the next step.

Keep the lid open and press and hold the setup button on the back for 15 seconds, until the status light first flashes amber and then white.

Before tapping connect on the setup animation, go to Settings > Bluetooth > ⓘ (Your AirPods) > Forget this device and confirm. If the AirPods are not visible there, continue with the next step.

Tap Connect in the setup animation and then tap Done. The AirPods are now ready to use.
