1. Select the “Settings” menu item and tap Bluetooth there. Then tap the info button next to the AirPods icon.
2. Next, you need to tap “Forget This Device”.
3. Tap “Forget This Device” a second time.
4. Now put both AirPods in the charging case.
5. Check the charging case's status light. It should now flash amber. You need to open the lid to check this.
6. In the next step, press the setup button on the back of the charging case. Hold it until the status light starts flashing white.
7. Now select the device you want to connect the headphones to. You need to go to the “Home” screen.
8. Place the charging case with the headphones inside close to the playback device, opening the lid first.
9. You're almost done. You just need to tap “Connect” and then “Done”. Your new left AirPod is now connected to the other parts and can be used as a set.
