5. When you open the lid, the status indicator should flash amber.

6. The next step is to press the setup button on the back of your charging case for a few seconds. This continues until the status indicator flashes white.

7. Go to the Home screen on the device you want to connect your AirPods to.

8. Hold your charging case next to your iPhone, iPod or iPad after opening the lid. It should automatically start setting up AirPods.

9. By clicking on "Connect" and then on "Done" you have finished setting up your AirPods with the new charging case.
