FIND AIRPODS WITH THE FIND MY APP
As a first step, it is of course advisable to think about when and where you last saw or used your AirPods. Maybe that will give you the crucial clue.
If not, you can use Apple's Find My feature . You can use this to see where your AirPods are. That's how it's done:
- On your iPhone, open Find My?
- Select your AirPods under “Devices”. If your AirPods are not in the charging case, you may only need to select the left or right AirPod. By the way: For the AirPods Pro 2 and newer models, you can also choose the charging case.
- Now find your AirPods on the map.
- Your AirPods are not nearby? Then tap “Calculate route”. Here's how you can view their location in Maps.
- Are your AirPods nearby? Then tap “Play Sound” and pay attention to whether you can hear the beeps from your AirPods.
- Depending on your AirPods and iPhone, you may also be able to select the Find Nearby option. If so, tap it and wait for the AirPods to connect to your iPhone. Then follow the instructions.
Please note: Sometimes it takes a while for the iPhone to connect to the AirPods. It may also take time for the sound to play or to find the device nearby.
CAN YOU LOCATE AIRPODS WHEN THEY ARE OFF/OFFLINE?
If the AirPods run out of battery or are out of range, “No location found” may appear. As a rule, you can now see your last known location and directions.
If the AirPods are offline, you won't be able to play sound or use the “Find Nearby” function.
Once AirPods are back online, you'll receive a notification on your iPhone or Apple device you're using them with.
WHEN SHOULD YOU MARK AIRPODS AS “LOST” AND WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU MARK AIRPODS AS LOST?
If you couldn't find your AirPods despite all your attempts, you can mark them as lost. Select your AirPods under “Where is”, swipe up slightly, then select “Mark as lost” and tap “Activate”.
Now follow the further instructions on the screen. These allow you to display your contact information to a person who might accidentally find your AirPods. Now tap “Activate” here too.
WHAT CAN I DO IF I ONLY LOST ONE AIRPOD?
If you have only lost a single AirPod , we can help you. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not sell individual replacement parts, such as only a right or only a left AirPod.
However, you can also purchase individual original AirPods in our online shop . This is significantly cheaper than having to buy a complete set of AirPods even though you only lost a single AirPod.
So that you can listen to music or take part in video conferences in the usual quality, we recommend that you do not get an inferior replacement. We purchase entire original sets from Apple ourselves and then disassemble them into the individual components. By purchasing just individual spare parts, you are also acting sustainably. If you only replace the part of your set that can no longer be found or is defective, this will save a lot of resources and avoid waste. HOW DO I FIND MY AIRPODS?
To find your AirPods, use Apple's Find My app. You can use this to display your current location on the map or have a signal sound to make it easier to find it again.
FINDING AIRPODS EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE OFF: HOW DOES IT WORK?
It's important to note that the Find My feature for AirPods only works if they were previously connected to one of your iOS devices that are linked to the same Apple ID. If AirPods are offline or out of range, the last known location will be displayed when they were last connected to a device.

ARE THE AIRPODS TRACKED OR THE CASE?

HOW DOES THE FIND MY APP WORK?

CAN YOU LOCATE AIRPODS WHEN THEY ARE NOT CONNECTED?

WHEN CAN YOU NO LONGER LOCATE AIRPODS?
